The Book Mania!

Hello! My name is Arch Camps, a 22-year old book lover. I started Book Mania! in August of 2010 as a blog which mainly featured literary quotes, but later on, an idea came out when I thought of transforming this blog not only into an inspirational cubbyhole, but also as a catalogue of the books I read, of literary excerpts, cool book stuff, awesome places I’d love to visit, writers I adore.

I studied literature at a university in Manila, Philippines, and I was an Editor of one of the publications I co-founded in our campus.

I am very much a prose writer and an occasional poet. My favorite literary authors are Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Safran Foer, F. Sionil José, Vladimir Nabokov and Charles Dickens.

Book Mania! is being featured on Tumblr Spotlight under the books category. It is the first and the only book blog from the Philippines (and even from Asia) which has been included on the Spotlight. It was also featured on the Tumblr Radar in June, 2011, Booooooom! in October, 2011, & Book Riot in April 2012.
